Itinerary
Leave Mumbai/Pune for Bagdogra, arrive & proceed to Phuentsholing. Arrive & complete immigration formalities at Phuentsholing (Bhutan village on the Indo-Bhutan border, 165 kms, 4 hours) Night stay at Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, proceed to Paro (176 kms, 6 hrs.).
After breakfast, visit Kichu Monastery, Paro Airport viewpoint, Paro museum and Paro Dzong. Evening free forshopping in the beautiful Paro market. Night stay at Paro.
After breakfast, visit Tiger Nest (Taktsang) Monastery viewpoint and visit Chelela pass from where you can seethe entire Himalayan range and the highest peak of Bhutan, Jomolhari, and back to the hotel for lunch. After lunch, departureto Thimpu (56 kms, 2 hrs). Night stay in Thimphu.
After breakfast, visit the huge open-air Buddha statue, the Takin preserve (Bhutan`s national animal), Simthokha Dzong,after lunch free to roam around market or enjoy free time, Night stay at Thimphu.
After breakfast, departure to Punakha via Do-Chula Pass (10000 ft.) where you can visit 108 Chorten memorials.Visit Punakha Dzong (Bhutan`s old capital) after lunch back to Thimpu.
Leave for Phuentsholing Enroute lunch and rest, Night stay at Phuentsholing.
After breakfast, check out the hotel & proceed to the immigration office for return formalities, then departure to Bagdograairport & proceed to Hometown. Tour End!
