Itinerary
Guwahati Airport – Kaziranga (Distance: 195 kms. / Driving Time: ~4.5 – 5 hrs.) Arrive at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport and drive to Kaziranga. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.
Early morning elephant safari (subject to availability). After breakfast, enjoy a jeep safari in another zone of the park. Overnight stay at the hotel in Kaziranga.
After breakfast, drive to Shillong. Enroute stop at Umiam Lake viewpoint. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Evening free. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
After breakfast, proceed for a day excursion to Cherrapunjee. Explore waterfalls and caves circuit including Nohkalikai Falls, Mawsmai Cave and Arwah Cave. Return to Shillong. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
After breakfast, drive to Mawlynnong and take a walk through the village. Visit the Living Root Bridge at Riwai. Later continue to Dawki for boating on the Umngot River (season dependent). Return to Shillong in the evening. Overnight stay at the hotel in Shillong.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. If time permits, visit local sights in Shillong. Later drive to Guwahati. On arrival, check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel in Guwahati.
Morning visit to Kamakhya Temple (subject to temple timings). After breakfast, transfer to Guwahati Airport for your return journey. Bid farewell with fond memories.
