Itinerary
Land at Cochin Airport/Railway Station and drive to Munnar. Stop at Cheeyappara & Valara waterfalls and photo breaks in the tea gardens. Evening free to explore Munnar market. Overnight Munnar.
Mattupetty Dam boating, Echo Point, Kundala Lake. Post-lunch visit Eravikulam National Park to see Nilgiri Tahr. End with Tea Museum + tea plantation walk. Overnight Munnar
Choose one: Top Station for valley views, Chinnar Wildlife Sanctuary, or Marayoor sandalwood forest + dolmens. Or just relax at the resort with a valley view. Optional: Kolukkumalai sunrise jeep safari for the world’s highest tea estate. Overnight Munnar.
Scenic drive to Thekkady via spice villages. Check-in and take a spice plantation tour. Evening Kathakali dance show + Kalaripayattu martial arts. Overnight Thekkady.
Morning boat ride in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary on Periyar Lake for wildlife spotting. Post-lunch drive to Poovar/Kovalam. Evening at the beach for sunset. Overnight Poovar/Kovalam.
Morning backwater + mangrove kayaking. Visit Golden Sand Beach. The estuary where Neyyar river, lake, and Arabian Sea meet is the highlight. If Kovalam: Beach hop between Lighthouse, Hawa, and Eve’s Beach. Try surfing or catamaran ride. Ayurvedic massage optional. Overnight Poovar/Kovalam.
Half-day Trivandrum city tour: Padmanabhaswamy Temple (dress code), Napier Museum, Zoo, Kuthiramalika Palace. Back to the beach by evening for last sunset. Shopping at Kovalam if you’re there. Overnight Poovar/Kovalam.
